I think it’s important to note the heavy applause and reaffirmation of her worth after she said she wasn’t the “role model” figure many wanted her to be (as in, be less sexual, dressing less scantily, etc.) I think it was amazing that all those Black women in the audience let her know that what she does in her own security was okay, and that she should still be allowed to be sexually expressive, swear, be mean or fierce when she chooses to be.
